Challenging Scoreboard Graphics at Two Local High Schools

DG Creativ recently took on two challenging projects for Akron Children's Hospital at Nordonia High School and Copley High School. The team was tasked with updating the scoreboards at both schools, each with its own unique requirements.

Challenging Nordonia High School Scoreboard

At Nordonia High School, the scoreboard presented a particularly difficult challenge. The existing banner system was over 15 years old, and the manufacturer was no longer in business. DG Creativ had to carefully remove the old graphic before installing the new one. The backlit banner for Nordonia High School measured an impressive 145" in height by 255" in width.

Unique Application at Copley High School

For Copley High School, the application was a bit different. The graphics needed to be backlit but also installed on acrylic panels. DG Creativ rose to the occasion by printing on a specialized backlit self-adhesive vinyl (SAV) graphic. These graphics at Copley High School measured 46" in height by 310" in length.
